In 2016, I launched a personal finance blog - Keep Thrifty - to encourage others to think differently about money.

Keep Thrifty has become a well-regarded resource with a mix of money philosophy, financial calculations, and inspiring stories.

Keep Thrifty is also home to Thrifty web app, an expense-tracking tool I created that helps people develop a deeper understanding of their finances.

I'm a software engineer by background with a strong focus in math and finance. I'm also a bit of a spreadsheet fanatic.

I've coded a number of high-quality calculators for personal finance websites (example 1, example 2) to help convey financial concepts to readers in an easy-to-use format.

I've been dabbling in Ruby on Rails since 2010.

Early on, I mostly worked on tutorials and hobby projects but I've since developed three web apps - one for personal use and two for everyone (Thrifty and mny)

While I'm currently rockin' the freelancing life, I'm always open to hear about opportunities.

Feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] with what you've got.
